3.23—LICENSED PERSONNEL POLITICAL ACTIVITY Employees are free to engage in political activity outside of work hours to the extent that it does not affect the performance of their duties or adversely affect important working relationships. It is specifically forbidden for employees to engage in political activities on the school grounds or during work hours. The following activities are forbidden on school property: Using students for preparation or dissemination of campaign materials; Distributing political materials; Distributing or otherwise seeking signatures on petitions of any kind; Posting political materials; and Discussing political matters with students, in the classroom, in other than circumstances appropriate to the Frameworks and/or the curricular goals and objectives of the class.
