Clever Portal
Clever provides single sign-on access to district-approved instructional applications. It is used to streamline login and simplify student access to tools adopted by the District.
These core tools are used daily in classrooms and are considered essential to curriculum delivery.
Additional Google Services (Opt-Out Available)
To enhance learning, the District may enable additional non-core Google services such as:
- YouTube (with restrictions and filtering enabled)
- Google Maps
- Google Earth
- Google Translate
- Google Books
These tools are used to support instruction in areas such as media literacy, virtual field exploration, and supplemental research. They are not required by the Google Workspace for Education agreement but are commonly used in classrooms.
Parent/Guardian Choice: Opt-Out for Additional Google Services
Parents/guardians may choose to opt their child out of additional Google services. However, doing so may prevent the student from fully participating in some assignments, classroom activities, and digital resources. In some cases, students may not receive instructional content in the same format as their peers.
The District will attempt to provide alternatives when possible, but these may not replicate the full instructional experience.
If you wish to opt out, you must complete the District’s Opt-Out Form below.
