3.14—LICENSED PERSONNEL JURY DUTY
Employees are not subject to discharge, loss of sick leave, loss of vacation time, or any other penalty due to absence from work for jury duty, upon giving reasonable notice to the District through the employee’s immediate supervisor.
The employee must present the original (not a copy) of the summons to jury duty to his supervisor in order to confirm the reason for the requested absence.
